Hi, I’m Nina Quick! A designer of *moments*. That’s how I see it at least. I live with an affection for creating memorable —experiences whether it be through interior spaces, intimate gatherings, or a curated moment to be photographed. I collect inspiration through my travels, experiences, and motherhood, encompassing my passion and using it to create. So welcome to my little piece of the internet, which realistically may probably be the longest time I’ll live in one place! They say home is a personal reflection of one’s journey and I am here to share the in’s & out’s of just that. Perhaps, the road less taken… yet the path I always seem to take!

A place that started out as a way to document travel memories as a party of two quickly turned into more than just that. Ultimately, Drifted Post is a lifestyle we unknowingly created for ourselves a long time ago and now lead with our family. It is now a place I call home for that journey. All while shedding light on the push and pulls of my truest passions. Welcome to my place to share love letters, motherhood and creative works; highlighting the detours, enjoying the unplanned chapters & finding the glory in it all — I’m so happy you’re here!

From The Start
Like most of us, where we have been has much to do with the people we are today. So it’s safe to say… we’ve been around!
From the beginning we have moved around a lot. Originally, moving from NJ, and Justin from NC, we met in Savannah for school. After that, it was onto Atlanta then LA and everywhere in-between. If things aren’t working, we change it constantly putting our happiness first. Settling has never been an option. So in turn we live a lifestyle of consistent change, planning each chapter season by season. We call it simply being an Unsettled Passenger on a journey to figuring ‘it’ out. I am not sure if we’ll ever find ‘IT’ but maybe thats not even the plan anymore. Maybe that is just the story. Maybe we are already here and enjoying IT! I like that version.
As far as my background goes… Well, my path into adulting wasn’t always as clear as day. However, the direction always revolved around creating beauty through different mediums. After receiving two degrees in Interior Design, my love for spaces ran deep.
We moved from the east coast to the west settling in LA for a time. With a husband in the film industry, Interior Design shifted into Set & Production Design and that ran me straight into the high-end / high-demand Events Industry Los Angeles has to offer. [the story of what shifted is a story for a different day.]
Through the hassle and bussle in it all we found ourselves at a crossroad in life. We needed balance. We wanted a family. We shifted our perspectives. And so, right on brand, we choose to pick everything up again while 8 months pregnant and move across the country…again. We landed in a small beach town on the east coast and choose to slow it down, dig back into our creative roots, and do life with our little girl. Best decision EVER!
Though through it all, one thing always remained the same — creating beautiful environments made for special moments whether for gathering, living, or simply a temporary setting to enjoy for a brief moment. These things have and will continue to be a key factor in what makes my world go round.
