Living in a daze, I set out to make a major lifestyle change. A plan (or therefore lack of) to see more of the world in hopes to also find a little inspiration from the simple things in life again. CHECK MATE, I stole my life back!
When 2020 initially started, Justin and I said that we were going to make this year different! Stand out from the rest. Travel more than we ever had. Well, we all know how that one went… So when 2021 came around with a slight opening, we freed up our life & took our chance. Somewhere in between the white rock cliffs overlooking the Ionian Sea and the colorful coast lines and personalities of Cinque Terre I found it… a burning desire to go further, dream bigger, and do more… That spark to keep going. ✨ And it felt really f***ing great!
So here we are, in this home away from home, our Drifted Post. This section is where all things regarding TRAVEL will live. Where we get personal about places we’ve visited, including useful information learned first hand, locations that are undeniably unforgettable, and of course, share stories and eventful moments during our times spent at each place. The feels, the views, the good food (because lets’ be real, the food is where it’s at 👏 😉) will all live in this little place to access whenever in need of a true and blunt depiction of a desirable (or undesirable) location!
We all travel for different reasons. Some travel for rest and escape, others for thrill or a change of scenery. We are here to feed the deep desire to see the world with different eyes, seeking its unique essence of understanding the cultures and lifestyle… That’s the sweet spot for me.
